At the moment I was writing this song, I was very exhausted from the events of the past few years. And on one of the less cheerful days, I was driving on the highway to a friend. The trip took about 5 hours. It was dark, and outside, a heavy rain was pouring down. It was raining so hard that it would have been sensible to pull off the highway and wait out the rain, but I was driving at my allowed maximum speed, seeing only a wall of rain ahead.
And at some point, I felt a release... It became unusually easy, as if I had crossed some invisible border, beyond which you find peace. I kept driving, as there were only a few cars on the road besides me. At that moment, the words of this song came to my mind.
I pulled off the highway and quickly recorded the lyrics while they were still swirling in my head. The rain outside calmed down, and I continued my journey. My soul felt unusually light. Suddenly, I clearly understood what truly brings me satisfaction in life—what is the main thing to focus on.
And the music video essentially conveys what I feel and have always felt: watching life around me, filtering through the small details of everyday life, I find the peace that is sometimes missing in the race for something unclear.
Long road ahead
Stretchin past the sunrise
No end in sight
Chasing dreams untold
Feet on the ground
Heart in the distant sky
Seeking the peace
In twilight's gentle hold
[Chorus]
Endless roads
Lead me there
To find peace
Beyond the air
Winds whispering tunes
In the stillness of night
Guiding my steps
To tranquil remedies
No turns or detours
Just straight path laid before
Keep on walking
'Til I find serenity
[Chorus]
Endless roads
Lead me there
To find peace
Beyond the air
